Musa

Musa, named for the mythological muses, is an alluring genus, which includes edible bananas and plantains. It also encompasses a growing number of coveted ornamental varieties. Large musoid foliage and uniquely colored, large bracts subtend an interesting assortment of generally seeded, fancy fruits.
