Globba have blooms born erect or pendulous. The delicate “day flowers” are reminiscent of a “Dancing Lady” and the diamond shaped bracts inspired the common name ‘Dancing Jewels’. With over one hundred species and countless varieties, Globba offers endless fascinating surprises. While obviously a natural as a potted plant, we offer long stemmed cultivars, suited for cut flower production. Despite their delicate appearance some last well over three weeks in the vase.

Excellent as a cut flower or potted plant. Long stems and long lasting, blooming throughout the spring and summer.

Very free flowering ornamental ginger. It’s easily propagated be divisions or bulbuls.
