Costus
Costus, commonly known as ''stepladder'' or ''spiral Ginger'' has recently been designated it's own taxonomic family. It's spirally arranged foliage is often covered with soft hair or has a purple underleaf. The flowers are displayed in dramatic form high above the leaves or sometimes simultaneously, on leafless scapes basally. Through a meticulous selection process, the best of this genus is being cultivated and promoted as a cut, landscape or potted plant for you growing needs.
